GIT Sets up Cooperation with AIT (CAECW 2015 Express)

Guizhou Institute of Technology (GIT) has set up cooperation with Asian Institute of Technology (AIT) during the Eighth China-ASEAN Education Cooperation Week. On the afternoon of Aug. 3rd, both sides signed Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) at the No.6 Conference Room of Guiyang International Eco-Conference Center. 

To enhance exchanges and cooperation in areas like teaching, academic and culture, both sides, on the basis of mutual benefits, will conduct effective exchanges of teachers and students, collaboratively hold lectures, meetings and symposiums, share data on teaching and academic studies, and undertake collaborative researches.

As a comprehensive international university, AIT takes a leading position in studies of nano technology, telecommunications, climatic change, and business management. Established in Bangkok in 1959 for the purpose of promoting education in senior engineering, now AIT has sub-campuses in many countries and becomes one of the biggest international graduate school in Asia, funded by many governments (including China), international organizations, foundations, commercial agencies, and individuals. It’s been engaged in student and teacher exchange programs with many top-ranking universities in China including Tsinghua University, Peking University, Sun Yat-sen University and Tongji University.
